How to film a product review with your face and the product in one take

Point the back camera at the product and the front camera at yourself, then record both at once. You get your reaction and the product in the same take, with no second angle to line up in editing. DualCapture saves a combined video and the separate files.

Why one take helps

A review is more believable when your face and the product are in the same moment. A dual camera app records both without a second camera.

How to do it

  • Set the back camera on the product and keep your face in the front view.
  • Pick a layout where the product is large and your face is small, or the reverse.
  • Record, then play it back to check the product is readable.

Edit it afterward

With separate front and back files you can swap which view is on top, or use only the product shot for a voice-over.

Be honest about sponsorships

If you were paid or given the product, say so in the video and the caption.
