Best app to record the front and back camera at the same time on iPhone
The best fit depends on your iPhone and budget. TKut and SplitRig list a free app with both cameras. Dualgram has the most App Store ratings. DualCapture saves three videos from one take but needs iOS 18. Details below come from each app's own page, read October 24, 2026.

Quick answer: pick the app whose iOS minimum your iPhone meets, then choose by price and watermark. All of these use the same Apple multi-camera system, which needs an A12 chip or newer (Apple).
| App | Best for | Free tier and watermark | Needs |
|---|---|---|---|
| DualCapture | Front, back and combined videos from one take | Free to download. Free exports carry a watermark. Premium from $0.99 a week | iOS 18.0+ |
| Dualgram | Longest track record: 4.7 stars from 2.7K ratings | Free with in-app purchases; Pro $8.99 a year or $29.99 once | Listing says iPhone XR, 11 and newer |
| TKut | A dual camera plus a full video editor | Its site says free, no watermark, no ads | iPhone XS+, iOS 16.4+ |
| SplitRig | Driving, cycling and sports with live overlays | Its site lists $0, no accounts and no ads | iPhone 11+ |
| DualTake | Reactions, podcasts and a Mac web app | Free has a small watermark and shorter takes; Pro $9.99 once (its page) | iOS 17+ |
| DoubleTake by Filmic | Filmmakers who want two 1080p discrete tracks | See its App Store page for current price | Page is written for iPhone 11 and 12 |
| DuoTake | Reactions with a teleprompter | Premium removes the temporary watermark | iOS 26.6+ per its site |
| ContentCam | Tall and wide files from one lens | Free, no watermark; Front and Back is Premium | iPhone XS+, iOS 18+ |
Which one should you pick?
If you want the cheapest start with no watermark, try TKut first, then SplitRig. If you are on an older iOS, DualTake (iOS 17) and TKut (iOS 16.4) install where DualCapture cannot.
If you want three files from one take (front, back and combined) and recordings that run until you stop them, DualCapture is built for that. It is a poor fit if you are not on iOS 18 or you refuse to pay to remove a watermark. See pricing.

What we could not verify
We did not test every app on the same iPhone. Claims are what each app says about itself. Prices and iOS minimums change, so check the App Store page before you buy.
Try DualCapture
It is free to download. Record a short clip and look at the export before you decide.
